Two women, a dead man, a villa – these are the wonderfully simple components of the comedy ‘The Villa.’ The two women, one of whom is a single mother and estate agent, the other the personal assistant of an indecisive rich man, could not have been better cast. They brilliantly portray their differences as well as their common dependency on the caprices of the invisible third party.

A corpse in the villa emerges as a great common problem that needs to be removed and gels the two very different women together. The set-up and the seriousness, with which the two protagonists proceed, is comically absurd. The image of the two women on hold on the telephone provides a clever ending.
