A scream of raven, a woman plunges. Underwater algae colonized the walls. Unexpected and improbable graffiti indicate a possible human existence. In this layer of algae and greenish vegetable cluster, the word OCEANS, gives the title of this video.
The spectator is surprised by a sensation of suffocation and oppression. At one and the same time an allegory of the human condition enjoining us to leave the frame and the anxiety of a possible future where the man would finish destroying his own natural resources.

Nicole Tran Ba Vang is a French visual artist developing a work through practices combining photography, sculpture, video, installation or painting. Her work is presented in France and abroad: Maison Européenne de la Photographie (France), CCCOD Centre de création Contemporaine Olivier Debré, Tours (France), Tokyo Metropolitan Museum, in many private and public collections (Museum of Modern Art of Saint -Etienne, Neue Galerie am Landesmuseum Joanneum in Graz) as well as in multiple group exhibitions.
