Verena Looser is media artist and biotechnologist and Melina Weissenborn is media artist and editor of the magazine outside the box. They produced video art, photographic series and experimental films in collaboration since 2010 when they met while studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig. Both currently live and work in Leipzig.
